Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine deems that in the Process of the Election Committees Formation may appear certain Opportunities for the Results of the Presidential Election Falsification.
Giving the answers to the journalists´ questions in Ternopil, V. Lytvyn expressed for the necessity of the special attention to the peculiarities of the election committees formation as according to his words, this issue bears "the treat to the possible election falsification."
"It is the fact that we have spoilt picture of the election committees formation", - V. Lytvyn announced explaining that the formation principle is imperfect due to "the absurd quote principle of the formation of power bodies and other structures."
"A lot of people appealed to me and informed on the facts that certain political power suggest salaries for the election committees´ members." "Such phenomenon spreads on the territory of Ukraine and it is a real threat."
"I am convinced that today this issue should be discussed in publicity as due to the indicated approach, members of the election committees are supposed to be aware of the fact that after the first election tour the recalculation of ballot papers would be held in order to implement whether this or that person has voted himself, specially taking into the consideration the fact that in western regions a lot of people work abroad", - he proclaimed.
"If this question of the votes recalculation is not supported by certain party representatives, it will mean that this party is involved into the voting results falsification", - V. Lytvyn emphasized.
V. Lytvyn is convinced that in election committee should work people who first of all "are great specialists and are aware of the fact that their actions abide the law."
